Finally, IN PERSON , after waiting sixteen years to meet her ....one of our favorite artists and authors CAME TO VISIT JUNE 4 AND 5 2010!
More than two decades ago, noted author, artist and teacher Mary Anne Radmacher, was beginning her chosen path--to live with purpose, to make a difference. She lost a dear friend and she wrote these words, which have appeared wrapped around mugs, on carry bags and journals, day planners, refrigerator magnets, and posters. Mary Anne Radmacher is known as someone who demands that we 'live with intention, and it is clear that her intention is to be an explorer: always charging into the unknown, logging her journeys, and charting new landscapes for the benefit of the rest of us.
Now after sixteen years of waiting to meet, Peace of Mind Emporium WAS thrilled to host one of our favorite artists/teacher/authors.

"I attended a Grief Workshop weekend last year. I lost my son four years ago. It was extremely helpful and made me feel hopeful for my future. Our accommodations next door at the Best Western Inn were fabulous. I met some wonderful supportive staff and I felt welcomed and loved throughout the entire experience."
~ Penelope, Dupont Delaware
"I travel here for workshops, massage and shopping. My most favorite gift is a gift certificate to Peace of Mind Emporium."

"Can you believe we are fortunate enough to have authors like Steven Farmer, Carol Ritberger, Donna Eden, John Holland, Penelope Smith, and Dr Eric Pearl come to Vermont?" Peace of Mind Emporium brought them to us.
~ George and Helen, Burlington Vermont
"We traveled from Michigan to hear Steve Hall and Friends one October. We returned every year for five years. The Concerts were outstanding, the staff was helpful in helping us with accommodations, and the scenery was magnificent."
~Bruce and Marge, Flint Michigan
"I attended a celtic harp and harp therapy class. I actually touched a harp and learned to play a chord. Christina Tourin was so magical and her playing so heavenly that I want to become a harp therapist now."
~Sally (former staff member), Rutland Vermont
"I drove from Connecticut to shop with my girlfriends and we happened to stop here. It was so wonderful that we signed up for a weekend of workshops. We met very compassionate people at the workshops. It was so comfortable in the large and spacious classroom. The staff made it very special and served cookies and tea. We shopped and had all our books autographed and spent time talking with Peter Calhoun and his lovely partner. We will definitely sign up for many more events."
~Linda, Farmington Connecticut
"I could go to Kripalu or Omega Institute but I love coming to Peace of Mind Emporium because the classes are much smaller, the building and store is so fantastic, and staying at the Best Western next door is far more inexpensive all the way around."
~Doreen, Manchester Vermont
