Performing a Reiki Session

Reiki is a Japanese word representing "Universal Life Energy", which is all around us. It is activated by applying light touch to the body facilitating healing in mind, body, and spirit.

The Reiki practitioner draws on concentrated healing energy. This energy is transmitted to the body and goes to whatever area needs healing on the physical and emotional level. This 2,500-year-old technique reduces stress, relieves pain, improves circulation, decreases elevated blood pressure, enhances sleep and relaxation, comforts and facilitates healing.

Reiki helps maintain balance in one's health. It is a healthy body therapy for someone who feels uncomfortable undressing for massage or being touched by a therapist. A client is fully clothed under a blanket during this one-hour session.

Nancy Snow LPN - Reiki Practitioner

Nancy Snow LPN has been has been a professional staff member at Peace of Mind Emporium since 1994. Her 35+ Nursing career years at Rutland Regional Medical Center have been devoted to the care of families. She has been a Reiki Practitioner since 1997. She studied Traditional Reiki with Joyce Morris of the Reiki Center of Los Angeles. Nancy specializes in helping individuals with stress management, chronic illness, cancer, pain relief and fatigue.

Marilyn Sura - Reiki Practitioner

Marilyn is compassionate and caring. Ask about her relaxing chair Reiki. She is also a hospice trained volunteer and Studied Traditional Reiki with Joyce Morris of the Reiki Center of Los Angeles and has been practicing Reiki since 1997. Marilyn brings great expertise and understanding in the holistic model of health and well being. She enjoys discussion with clients, is a great coach in looking at solutions of life's challenges and health concerns. Her caring hands hold and transfer great healing energy.
